Would you like to be part of Artisan’s Alley?
We are always looking out for local artists, makers and creators who are producing quality hand made goods. We avoid overlap between our makers so that we don’t have competition within the shop for similar product lines so check out our current line up and if you’re doing something different - whether it’s a passion project, a weekend hobby, or a full-time occupation, get in contact and tell us your story.
Our talented members also staff the shop because we know that nothing sells these products better than the makers themselves, and customers love to hear the stories and inspirations behind the pieces. Each space therefore comes with a commitment of one weekend day per month (either a Saturday or a Sunday). If you have additional time to spare during the week, we offer reductions in rates for additional days you can help out.
All of our facilities are included in the rate.
A high-quality space with flexible mounting surfaces and an array of display fixtures.
Sales are booked through our Square Register with weekly revenue distributions complete with inventory lists.
Weekly sales data across the premises including foot traffic and buying metrics.
Fully insured business with all overheads included.
Security camera monitoring.
Licenced store music.
Feature space on our website, with links to your existing e-commerce sites.
Permission to use our generated social media content, brand name and assets for the duration of the agreement.
A location for your online customers to click’n’collect.
Access to Main Street Mornington customers 6 days a week with a bustling café next door and frequent weekend tourists.
How much does it cost?
Our arrangements are a monthly licence for a space within the premises.
The licences run for either 6 months (summer or winter) or 12 months.
Winter rate (1 April to 30 September) is $200 per sqm per month + GST
Summer rate (1 October to 31 March) is $300 per sqm per month + GST
A 12-month licence enjoys the winter rate all year round.
Our spaces range from 3sqm to 9sqm, contact us to find out what we have available.
If you have a small product range and don’t have time to be in the shop, then we have some glazed display cases which are suitable for jewellery or small decorative items. These are $250 per month (Winter) and $350 per month (Summer) + GST.
There are no time allocations associated with these cases, they are a simple display option.
Pop UP OPPORTUNITiEs
If you want to trial your products in our space and see whether they appeal to our customers, then we have a monthly rotation of pop up spaces available. These include gallery wall for hanging art, as well as areas that are fitted with flexible display surfaces.
Pop up spaces are on a sales commission basis, and operate on a wait list principle.
